Christmas Pinecones

This Technique Junkies background stamped called Pinecones really intrigued me and after pondering what I was going to do to showcase its’ beauty, I settled on taking a finger dauber and I inked up the pine needles in SU’s Old Olive and sponged the pinecones with Distress Ink in Walnut Stain. Next, I lightly spritzed the stamp with water to reactivate the ink and quickly stamped it out on vanilla cardstock.

After the image dried, I covered the card front with VersaMark and then sprinkled Tsukinek #06 Sparkle over top and heat embossed.
