Spellbinders Flower Bouquet Stamp & Die Template Set

I made this card following the instructions on Jennifer McGuire’s video, Coordinating Die-Cut Windows, https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2017/12/coordinating-die-cut-windows.html.

The next time I try this technique, I will keep the die-cut overlay and the die-cut foam piece the same size as the stamped card and trim them after die-cutting. I think it would be easier to trim all around the pieces afterward. This time, I trimmed first and then die-cut; I had trouble lining the overlay up with the foam piece and still have them be straight on the card base. I ended up using mounting tape, and it took forever to put on all the tiny pieces that I needed to support the narrow parts of the overlay. Watch the video and you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Jennifer did it both ways, and it worked perfectly for her both times. She used adhesive foam squares instead of die-cutting fun foam.
