Floral birthday card

I bought a new tool and had to try it out. I got the Sizzix Chrome Precision base plate for my Big Kick.
It worked wonderfully on the ornamental screen! In this case, I covered the Neenah solar white paper with wide score tape before I die cut it. I placed it over an ombre watercolor background (still using those pieces I made for Heidi's challenge!).
I really like this stamp set ... it's old, and I'm not sure I've ever used it ... I just admire it in its sleeve I guess? ! So I'm happy I finally inked it up. Oh, and I used a mini stapler that's ancient too, from Memory Makers, with a red staple in it. Happy to be playing with some of my poor neglected supplies and happy I can use the ornate background die without a fight!
