Creative Challenge - Batik stamping

Thanks for the challenge Connie!

I stamped and heat embossed the large flower with clear embossing powder. Then I stamped a leafy flourish in Versamark ink. Next I blended 3 bluish distress inks over the front panel. I spritzed with water, which was a mistake I think because I felt like I lost most of the Versamark stamping. I folded the paper several times to put lines in it and then inked some more with all 3 blue distress inks. I stamped a few small flowers with Speckled Egg and stamped the leafy flourish again spritzed with water (no ink) to replace the versamark stamping. I flicked some water drops over the panel, trimmed it down and edged with blueprint sketch. I ironed the panel over newsprint to melt off the white embossing powder. The sentiment was stamped on black paper with Versamark and heat embossed with white EP. I painted a piece of white cs with clear Wink of Stella and stamped the butterfly over it with Spiced Marmalade distress oxide. It is mounted with SU dimensionals. The white enamel dots were home made (white enamel accents over mini glue dots on a nonstick mat, I think! I made them years ago.).
TFL!

I love this technique! I've never done with the step where you folded the paper; that looks so cool! TFS. Daria

Your folds add such wonderful texture and interest to your card! TFS! Any special tips on how to achieve so much texture?
