Die Cut Swap-November 2015-Noel Card

The card I started with one thing and ended up with this. I used a piece of Tim Holtz Christmas paper and then inked it with bundled sage and forest moss distress ink. I then spritzed it with water to get the water droplets.

I stamped the houses with a Crafty Individuals stamp in archivers black ink. I then used tumbled glass, salty ocean, and faded jeans distress ink to color them. They were stamped on watercolor paper. I then cut them out. They are popped off the background with pop insulation tape.

The snowflake behind the houses is embossed with a yellow stampendous embossing powder. The stars in the sky are stamped and embossed with WOW white embossing powder.

The Noel die cut is stamped with some background stamps and then embossed with clear embossing powder. After it was glued on I outlined it using a black fine point Faber Castelle pen.

The next layer is also a Christmas paper from Tim Holtz that was inked with faded jeans distress ink.

The Noel and the snowflake behind the houses are die cuts from Iring.

Thank you for looking.

What wonderful transformation of your die cuts...with stamping, EP and outlining. Too funny I didn't even recognize the sun was a snowflake even though I have one sitting right in front of me. Thanks for share you creative talents with us!

I love the scene you created! Very clever to use a snowflake die as the setting sun! The Noel stands out very well with the black outline. Super card!
