Die Cut Swap-Novewmber 2015-Poinsettia Card 1

I started with a plain white heavy cardstock for the background. I then stamped the pine boughs on the top left using a Dyan Revaley stamp in archivers library green ink. I also stamped the holly coming down the right side with archivers library green ink. I then colored them using inktense pencils. The red berries are done with a gel pen. I then rubbed the entire background with versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

The Christmas bulbs are saved from the card with the Tim Holtz tree. I colored them using distress stickles. The poinsettia is stamped with Tombow markers in red and green. I cut them out using the dies that came with the TIm Holtz stamp and die set. The centers are Viva Pearl Pen in Ice. The flowers are pop dotted up from the flowers below them.

The dove is colored with distress ink and then Inka Gold is rubbed over the top.

I assembled the card and mounted it on a light green cardstock base.

The dove is a die cut from Iring.

Thank you for looking.

My favorite, love the ornaments on the pine bough, pretty dimension on the flowers, and like the gold touch to the bird!

My favorite too! I love how you colored the bird with a base layer...it added the perfect dimension! I really like the bulbs on the evergreen branch...a nice difference from all the sequins I am seeing used. Great white space too!

This is gorgeous! The dove is beautiful that way. I love how it looks like it could be carrying the holly garland. Really beautiful card!

Great job! Beautiful job. Those ornaments really stand out with the Distress Stickles--love that stuff. TFS. Daria
