Die Cut Swap-November 2015-Poinsettia Card 2

I started with a piece of watercolor paper cut 4 x 4 inches. I used a Tim Holtz poinsettia stencil and white picket fence distress paint. I let it dry and then used fossilized amber, wild honey, and spiced marmalade distress ink for the pretty yellow color. I stamped the sentiment using coffee archiver ink. The stamp is from Tim Holtz.

I used the poinsettia with Tombow markers and die them. I messed one up so on this card there are only two extras that are pop dotted up from the other flowers. The centers are gold viva pearl pen. The two cardinals are die cuts that I used barn door distress ink with gathered twigs distress ink around the edges.

The cardinals are die cuts from Far North.

Thank you for looking.

Wow, this is really a neat look with that glowing yellow background. I like your flowers with the gold centers to match that background.

Yes, the birds do look like they belong there, all nestled in! Love the yellow gold background with the resist and the gold Viva flower centers.
