Stampendous Christmas Owl / Impression Obsession Twig Wreath

First of all, thank you, Nora, for your advice for painting the owl’s eyes and your suggestion to add Stickles to the hat and lending me yours; those ideas brought this little guy to life.

I painted this little owl last weekend, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to put him into a card. I decided on the tone-on-tone background but I needed something else. I checked out the envelope of die-cuts April sent me for the Die-Cut Swap and found this wonderful Impression Obsession twig wreath. I embossed it with ivory embossing powder, and it looks great! Thank you, April. (It looks white here, but in real life, it’s a creamy ivory.

Very cute! I love that die and think it was such a good idea to perch the owl on the wreath! Love your background you stamped too, it works great with your die and images Smile

What a lovely card. I do like the owl sitting in the wreath and his eyes being off white makes the hat sparkle so much.
