ATC Swap November 2015-Trees

November ATC Swap-Dryer Sheet Technique with Trees 2015

I cut an ATC from white card stock. I painted the background with Salty blue and Tumbled glass distress paint by putting the paint on a craft sheet and spraying it and then dragging the ATC through the paint. I dried the paint. I stamped the tree (an umounted rubber stamp) with embossing ink and then heat embossed with WOW black embossing powder.

I then used Ranger collage glue stick on the front ontop of the stamp and paint and then laid the dryer sheet down. I used white sugar glitter by BoBunny on top of the dryer sheet. I let that dry.

Then I cut another ATC out of black card stock and then die cut an oval in the center of that with a Spellbinders die. I rubbed embossing ink over the front and used Ranger Roman Gold embossing powder and then heat embossed. I glued the gold frame on the top of the ATC. I wanted it to look like an old antique framed picture from the Civil War era.

I printed out the sentiment on my laser printer and then foiled it. I added it across the bottom of the “picture”.

I used a fine Faber Castell black pen to “stitch” around the inside of the oval.

I cut several feathers out of shrink plastic using a die, then shrunk it and painted it. I hooked the feathers onto the ATC using jump rings and chain. On the other top corner I put a snowflake and heart brad.

I took a wooden deer and three wooden trees and painted them with distress markers. Then I touched then on the edges with Inka Gold.

Thank you for looking.

I love how you framed the image. What an amazing idea. And you definately got that antique effect you were going for with the embossing powder. The wood deer and trees are great. And the way you attached the feathers is so cool. Fabulous.
