Die Cut Swap Santa version 2

This is another version of the first A2 Santa card I made for the Die Cut Swap. The main image was stamped in black. I colored portions of it with prismacolor pencils. I painted fired brick distress stickles over Santa's suit. It has just a little bit of sparkle.

The die cut holly was sent to me by SWLady. Thank you!
I covered the holly leaves with Tim Holtz washi tape, painted with peeled paint distress paint and edged with tarnished brass distress paint. I smeared the green paint with my finger to keep it transparent. The berries were pressed in a versamark embossing ink pad and embossed twice for good coverage with firecracker red sparkle embossing powder.

Stamp : Tim Holtz/Stamper's Anonymous Santa's Letter
Ink : Memento Tuxedo black, Versamark
Stamped on Global Art Materials Kona Classic (kraft looking) paper
Printed Papers : My Minds Eye Lost & Found Christmas

TFL!

This is fun! I like how you used the washi and paint to alter your die cuts. Good idea!

This is really nice. I love the stamp. And would have never thought of using washi tape on the die cuts!
