This is for my sister's birthday. I rubbed gelatos on the rubber, spritzed with water and stamped on watercolor paper. I used a stamp positioner and I added more gelatos and water and stamped again to get more color. The melon color on the flamingos was actually a metallic so it has a nice shimmer. The birthday frame was stamped with Versafine Onyx black and embossed with clear EP. I think the legs are off just a bit, but it was too late in the process so I decided to live with it. I stamped a big Hero Arts flourish inside in a light blue distress ink to look like a splash. I wrote "Make a Splash" with a large SU alphabet rotary stamp. There were just enough spaces to spell out the entire sentiment in one stamping.

Stamps : Rubbernecker Splash Party and Happy Birthday Frame

I bought this stamp when I saw it demoed at a trade show using Colorbursts. I didn't try Colorbursts this time because I know I had trouble getting the right paste consistency last time I tried, and I believe Rubbernecker was selling some sort of special coated/uncoated (?) watercolor paper. The gelatos worked fine. In the future I'd like to try distress or oxide inks.
