January Snowflake ATC

The base was made from the leftovers of the masterboard I created for Inktoberfest's ATC challenge. I then embossed it will a Darice embossing folder and rubbed silver gelato over the embossed snowflakes.

I die cut the shape for the sentiment, which is by Impression Obsession (I think). I colored the edges with metallic watercolor paint and the center with Wink of Stella.

I created the embellishment from the top to a glass Christmas ornament. I broke a few when making ornaments back in October and being the crafting pack rat that I am, I kept the tops. I folded a few of the tines behind so it would look more like a snowflake and less like a silver sun. I added a sequin and gem to cover the holes.

I love the shimmery layers of snowflakes. Glad you got to use your ornament topper! It turned out cool.

This is even prettier IRL--the pic washes it out a bit. The blue BG is soft & has great 'movement'. WTG, Sarah!
