This card is for Heidi's leaf challenge. Many of the beautiful red maple leaves have fallen and are blanketing my drive. The colors blend so much that it is almost difficult to see the individual leaves. So I here I tried to mimic the blended colors. I started with dabbing distress stain onto my craft mat and then placed tissue over top. Once dry I wadded up the tissue to add creases. Opened the paper and adhered with glue onto white cardstock and stamped the leaved with archival ink. Finally highlighted the wrinkles with DTP technique.
The card background was stamped with a leaf background stamp. I stamped a second image with the stamp inked in a different color and turned 180 degrees.

Wow! This just glows! That was such a good idea to use the tissue technique with leaves. Beautiful!

You definitely obtained the look you were looking for! What a very pretty card! It does remind me of a pile of maple leaves on the ground. I really like the creases of brown you added. Thanks for explaining how you got them, as I was thinking a different way. Thanks for playing in my challenge!

Oh wow that is just stunning, lovely choices of color and love the effect the crinkled paper gives to it!
