I went back to my youth for this challenge. I took regular plain wrapping paper & crayons to do the rubbings from a stamp & 2 stencils. Fun challenge.

Excellent idea, Daniel! I am surprised you got such a good result with the rubbing of the stamp. Maybe because you used wrapping paper? Very nice!

Thanks, Heidi. Yes. Thin paper does often produce 'better' rubbings. Newsprint paper is great for rubbings, but it does break down over a few years--like the older construction papers it has lots of acid in it. chalks are also great for rubbings.
