WF15 Color My World Challenge

I took the piece I uploaded a few days ago that was just the ink and paper drawing and went through with my idea of overlaying chalk and watercolor pencils over it. I read somewhere that you can blend chalk with water and I'm still trying to figure out if that is so since I didn't notice much difference when done here. I left the sky done in chalk and water only.

After the chalk and water dried, I went over the piece in watercolor pencils and wet that with my water brush. I still have trouble with having lines when using the watercolor pencils, but the use of watercolor paper here may had contributed to that also. I think this is one reason I don't use my watercolor pencils very much.

I used the watercolor pencils a twice allowing the paper to dry in between, I finally went over the mountains with chalk again and water and like the smooth result.

I die cut the piece (spellbinders Decorative Labels 8) adn matted with CS. TFL!

This came out amazing. The effect you got on the sky is really cool and the colors are the mountain have so much depth. Lovely card.
