WF15 Art @ Your Fingertips

This is my journal page I made for Daniel's challenge. I stamped the "Vintage Column" (Hampton Arts---but there is a copyright 2011 for Hot Fudge Studio) and heat embossed with Ranger copper tinsel. I colored the column with chalk and I l

Stamped the "plant" with my fingers in distress inks of various green. Drew in the lines for the plant and long feathery stems using Micron pens in differnt colors. Stamped the swallowtail (East of India) and added the item it's carrying with Sakura Gelly Roll pen (orange/copper color).

I stamped the top and bottom with an embossed vellum piece I had on the side and inked it up by pressing the vellum into the pad and then stamping while holding it with my hand.

I inked up my finger and rubbed it across the BG to color it--much like using chalks. I used two blue shades of distress inks to do this.

Stamped the "puff balls" (Stamp Timbre--stamps I got at a Papyrus Store recently) in differnt distress inks and second generation stamping.
TFL!

Excellent! The fingertip foliage is great. Good job adding the linework to enhance the bush. I also like using your finger to apply & burnish the BG. Well done all around!

Reminds me of an "Old Master's" painting. Stunning work with finger tips. Using the column for a vase for the plant - Outstanding use of the stamp. So very well done. TFS
