Birthday Card - Gesso Resist

The image was left over from one of the KIEA swaps. I colored it with Copics, Spica glitter pens (the candle) and silver metallic pen (plate). I added liquid pearls.

The background was created with the gesso resist. The stamp is Hero Arts and I colored it with Distress Inks in Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Peacock Feather and Shabby Shutters.

I made the bow with my bow it all.

Oh my favorite. Love the colors in the background paper and how your used similar colors on your cake. Perfection.

Very pretty and subtle BG and that bow is really pretty--I thought bow it all only did large bows for some reason, but I am glad to see I am wrong b/c your bows are cute! TFS!

This ones fabulous too! Love the way you inked up the background. The gesso worked well here. Love how you colored the cake, it looks good enough to eat! Thanks for taking my challenge:)
