Masking

I used my Spellbinders labels fours to make the stencils.
So I started with the one on the right. I tried to ink just the edge of the inside of the shape with Wilted Violet Distress Ink, but that didn't go well. So I inked the whole inner shape and then stamped the vamp. I put the second stencil over the image and inked the edge with Twisted Citron Distress Ink.

For the second one, I created another stencil using the next smaller die so I could use it to edge the inner shape. I stamped the vamp. Then covered it with the large label stencil and inked the edge. The purple bleed a bit. So I used my glue pen to edge it and added orange embossing powder. I think I put the glue on a little too thick and some of it got burned.

I recovered the inner piece and stamped the bats. The stamps are by Studio G.

Those are so cool and I love the idea of making an embossed border around it too, thanks for playing

How halloweenish, bats and vampires. Your edge is so crisp what a good job in inking. TFS
