WF16IM Impress Me and WF16CC Casting Call

“Oh Happy Day”…yes indeedy! I finally got to spend time creatively playing! Yay! I have been working making some stamped impressions with molding paste for Heidi’s challenge --my kind of simple fun. And if that wasn’t enough I tried casting an impression by putting hot glue into a stamp for Daniel’s challenge. The fun part is that I used the same stamp for both techniques (along with trials with several others). For the card base I was inspired by Ann’s junk challenge and used the scrap paper from under my stamped impressions. I used an embossing folder similar to my stamp to fill the bottom corner and inked with cracked pistachio.
Other supplies used for texture stamping:-Dream Weaver Embossing Paste, metallic gold and stamped with Ranger Archival ink, black. For the Hot glue casting came out somewhat foggy on top and white on the backside. Sharpie markers for coloring as well a top layer of Inka Gold in silver.

This turned out wonderfully. The cast is great, the impression is great, and the background matches so well I thought maybe that was also stamped into modeling paste until I read your description. I am impressed with your design and finished project. TFS

Both your casting and your impress came out great. I really like the stamp you used. And that embossing folder is too perfect with that stamp. Great card.
