Uninked challenge #1

#1 I love pinecones and actually have a collection of various sizes and shapes. But I have the hardest time making stamp images of pine cones look realistic. I discovered this image of 2 pine cones (no know manufacturer/designer) in my collection of unused stamps. I stamped the image in black on some sprayed paper accented with brown ink and white pen then hand cut.
The background is designer paper which has been in my stash for years…so I embossed with CB folder and lightly sanded. I recently bought some new dies so I used the sentiment and the greenery.

The white accents make your pinecones totally realistic! Beautiful job! I love the embossed and sanded printed background too.

I agree, the pine cones do look realistic. I think that the white gel pen you used highlighted them perfectly. The background is really pretty!
