Paper Towel Stamping

I decided to post a pic of my background. I got good texture, just not sure of the colors. I do have an ink pad with different colors. I put the paper towel down on it few times and tried to match it up. I didn't do very well with that.
The background also feels waxy. Did others get this feel?
Now I don't know what to do with it, LOL

Kathy, I think this is a great background for a future project. TFS

Wow Kathy I think this is the best paper towel result so far! I too had the issue with adjusting the potion of the towel on the multi-colored ink pad. Any tips you can share with the rest of us? Where do you think the waxy feel came from...no I didn't experience that. Such bright colors...great for a happy card...maybe birthday?

KAthy I think you have the same paper towel I have!! I was trying to hard to get those squares/diamonds to show up but I never could! How did you do that? Maybe I pressed too hard and squished them out… Your's looks great! TFS!

I agree with Jan. I think this is the best results anyone has gotten. It is really cool looking.

You got wonderful stamping from your paper towel. Mine is more muted. I wonder if I squished mine too much. Thank you for sharing.

Cool background! You can really see the pattern. Hmmm, for some reason, I'm thinking Mardi Gras, but this would be great for any celebration!
