INF14 Mixed Media

I was in a hurry so I chose to try punched watercolor paper instead of chipboard. I just thought it might dry faster. I used the method described with Elmers School glue and acrylic paints we had around to paint pumpkins. After the glue/paint dried overnight, I wasn't crazy about the dry, matte look, so I added Glossy accents and let that dry.

The stamp is Inkadinkado, Embossing folder Darice and I added some depth by brushing some tan ink over the background (not sure if you can see it in the photo.)

Oh yes, the swirls in your leaf are wonderful! And I like the most solid red areas are on the edges. The embossed swirls are a wonderful compliment.

Hey! That leaf looks a little familiar! Haha! I can't believe we both made leaves and you and I and April all used the same colors! We must have good taste huh?! I love what you did with your pretty leaf!

I really like this….the swirls you achieved are so pretty and I like the rustic feel of the card. Very nice!
