INKFEST 2022 - FLOWER POWER WINNER!!!!!

The name of my challenge is FLOWER POWER. Please use the code INKFEST 2022 - FLOWER POWER when posting in the gallery. Please use at least one stamp on your card. The stamp on my card is the bee. I used a die for the stem of the flower. Please post your card in the gallery and link it here so that we will not miss it. I will be giving an RAK to a randomly chosen person.

Most of all have fun. Your flower may look weird to you at first, but keep going. It will turn out fine!

I have watched quite a few of her videos, this looks like fun

I cut up a paper towel roll tonight.  Had fun making two flowers.  Word of caution, wear a smock!  I closed the lid on a paint bottle and it spattered paint on my shirt.  I washed it pretty quickly but it didn't come out.  Now I have a painting shirt! 

This was fun!  Thanks for the challenge.  I need to finish them in to cards.

I used three colors of paint on watercolor paper.let dry, went back in with some new watercolors gifted to me, to fill in details.  I added words with flower and embossed.

If I need more stamping, I can add a bug!

Your flower card is so pretty, Yankee! The saying with the flower is enough stamping. You can add a bug only if you want to. Thanks for doing the challenge.

My MIL has a birthday coming up so this will be for her.  She loves sunflowers so I used yellow, gold and orangish colors.
I made a standard A2 card and I like how the flower fills the card.  It took me a few minutes to decide exactly where to trim the flower down to fit.

This was a fun challenge April, and something really different!  I enjoyed it.  Thanks!

Well I tried this 4 times, I threw away the first two, then I left these over night to see what I think the next day, still didn't like how they turned out waited another day still don't like them so I have decided not to waste a card base on them so I will just show you here how mine turned out.

I think they look pretty cool, especially with a pearly center and stem.  Maybe put a big bright butterfly on it?!

You know I am sure I did this same thing with my grandsons years ago and I use a paper towel cardboard center.
And cut it in several pieces for all of us.

I was wondering if that would be better Yankee, I may try that after I get all the other challenges finished.

I think your flowers look just fine. The paper towel roll might make the flowers a little smaller. I hope you don't give up!
