Cindi and I are doing an Informal Hangover week. I hope that if you complete some challenges that you missed, that you will post them in the gallery and the appropriate thread to share them! I have 2 left to do. I will be watching to see if other people post any as well!
-
Thanks for starting a thread Heidi! Just the motivation I need to keep stamping!
-
Sounds great! I will be watching too.
April

Today I got to browsing around our gallery and guess what I found? Mirror image stamping that I had done in response to a challenge offered by Daniel! His technique used freezer paper to transfer the image. No wonder he liked that challenge!

Oh, I have a vague memory of the freezer paper!
-
LOL Cindi! I didn't remember offering a mirror stamping challenge, but I certainly do like pcfp. It has lots of craft uses.
I didn't have any to use during INK17 tho.
-
The plastic sheet from my stamps worked better then other thing I had used in the past.
I remember doing a method of transferring the stamping with the back of a clear stamp.
Also from Daniel.
-
I'd forgotten about using the back of clear stamps as a reversing tool, Sheila.
What's funny is that I was fooling around with stamping the back of some clear stamps yesterday . ;D
-
Here is a link (http://www.duhnproductions.com/forum/index.php?topic=718.0) to the challenge from August 2015!
-
Thanks, Cindi! I located my project for that challenge and I don’t remember making it! I am surprised! It was pretty simplistic, which is probably why I had trouble starting this challenge!
-
I thought it would be fun to look back!
Today I made one more card from one of my Tarnished backgrounds while all of those supplies were still out.
Thank You (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=3658#top_display_media)
Next will be Re-Leaf, I promise!
-
Hooray! I finished the What a Releaf challenge. In a big way! Lots and lots of leaves ...
Happy Thanksgiving (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=3659#top_display_media)
Thanks Heidi! I linked to your original challenge thread too.

Cindi, I loved your card so much I tried to case it. Here I used Gina K Dark Chocolate ink. However, I am unhappy with my blue color, I want your ink!!! Maybe the grass is always greener (or bluer, or browner) on the other side?

-
Haha! I do love your dark chocolate ink!
My blue is Distress Broken China. I photographed at night. Just realized looking at the photo this morning that it looks like I used a vanilla card base but it's actually white.
I really like your idea to use acorns instead of dots O0
Isn't it a nice layout? You're right, it would work for lots of stamps. We should make it a challenge. I think I will!
-
Seriously, Broken China!!!? Shoot, I didn’t even think of looking at my distress inks!!!! Now I feel silly. :(
Anyhow, I am glad you will make it a challenge. I would like to work with it more.
I colored up the sunflower digi! It is a great image and easy to color!

haha! Yes, broken china! I put it in my gallery description. Silly :idiot2: ! I guess you didn't read the fine print?
I do apologize for the photo.

No I sometimes overanalyze but I also sometimes skip over the obvious. Both are bad habits.

Now that it's daylight, and I'm awake, that photo is really bothering me! I tried to change it in the gallery, but it won't let me change that, I'd have to add a whole new entry, so I will attach it here and put it in the challenge thread I will start in a few minutes. Phew, now that was a run-on sentence!
Here's what it should look like. I went outside.
-
The card is so much prettier in natural lighting!
-
Thanks Heidi and Cindi for the extra motivation to complete my tarnished card this week. I appreciate the extra kick to get it done since I must move on to some other household essentials.
Here is my card: (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?pid=3673&message_id=1394dba55712dfd6533dad55ef003544&message_icon=info#cpgMessageBlock)
...Jan
-
Jan, your card is stunning! So glad that you had the motivation to get it done, because it is fabulous!
-
Yes, Jan, your Tarnished card is gorgeous!
This card (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=3674#top_display_media) is a stretch for the Bingo Twist. I hoped to make a more "Fall" card, but I think this is as close as I am going to get with Halloween. (Running out of time!) The faux textured metal technique that I discovered during Jan's perfect pearls challenge is becoming a favorite.
