Title: WF18 More with Less

So several of us have mentioned needing to cut back on our craft supplies and a few of us have had to cut back on their supplies due to moves.  Which got me thinking about doing more with fewer supplies.

Requirements: Make 3 projects using the same image stamp, but for each project you need to use it in a completely different way.  You can use one additional stamp on each project (it doesn't have to be the same stamp on each), but that's it.  So for example, you can use the one stamp as a focal image on one project, make a background using it for the second project, and use part of the stamp for the third project.  The projects can be cards, ATCs, tags, anything else you want, and the three projects don't all have to be the same type (i.e. you can make a tag, a card and an ATC).

Combining challenges: But of course.

Sarah,

So does that mean if we use a sentiment stamp, that's it?  We can't use another stamp beside the image and the sentiment?

Yep.  Just the sentiment and the image.

This challenge is next on my list
I know what image i want to use--have to find it😜
Far as the 'plus 1' for each project? I have one of three chosen.
Also have to decide on the projects
This challenge has great scope despite the number of stamps permitted.
Just the sort of play i enjoy 😘🃏🎨🎵

By in large I'm not too unhappy with what I made, but of Course we always know we can do 'better'😜

it seems a lot of us are using butterflies. I have a butterfly stamp in mind too! Hope to work on it tomorrow.

I was thinking a bird stamp might be an easier one to stretch, or a pretty background stamp.  Still deciding!

My first card I used it as a background.

Second as a focal, I messed up on this one and did 3 stamps cause the frame and sentiment are separate, I didn't realize till I was taking the picture.

Third one was hard but I ended up stamping the bird 6 times, cutting off the beak, legs and tail and putting a whole through it's eye to thread the brad through and made a flower.

I decided to use a background stamp.  I love them, but don’t use them enough.

For the first card I used it for paper piecing:

And the final card, I used it as it’s intended purpose, for a card front, but also used heat embossing and watercoloring with it.

This was a hard challenge for me BUT all three of these cards are getting mailed out PRONTO, so I definitely used it to get cards that I need.

It's really fun to see everyone's entries for this challenge.  Clever ways of using stamps.

I used a stamp with 3 dresses on a clothes line 3 ways.

1.  Masking off sections of the stamp to get 3 separate dresses.

2.  Focal point of a clean and simple card.  Simply stamped and embossed.

3.  Stamped and colored as part of a scene.

I made a card with the small balloon stamp as background.  Added a die cut of balloon and words.

Made another card with a huge stamp with lots of balloons.  I masked out the center balloons.  Stamped small four stamp on another paper, colored, pop dotted in the center.

And last one I combined with art four you.  It is a ATC with the same small four balloon stamp with another balloon combo of four balloons.  I pop dotted the largest of the balloons.  I put in a small frame and put it on a shelf.

Cindi, you really got more with less on your last card - using a pie for the laundry basket and a piece from April's challenge for the post.  Great job on all three cards.

Yankee, your trio of pieces came out great.  I really love the one with the black and white background.  So clever.
