Take a look
Sometimes it is difficult to envision what a stencil will look like once it is inked. So here is your chance to ink up 4 stencils for the 1st time and then choose 1 to make a card.
Use whatever means of coloring you desire to achieve results that make you happy. Try to think creatively in using portions of the stencil or perhaps laying it out in a different way...maybe different sizes??
Post a photo of all 4 of your backgrounds. As well post a photo of your card. (Note:You will find the location for your photos in the Album List >filed with the label"Ink 2019")
Also please share some comments about your experience.
Please do not combine with other challenges.
Yes, I will offer a RAK for this challenge.
Here’s to Happy Creative Moments!...Jan

Good idea, Jan! Thanks for hosting!

I came to stamping via stenciling--decades ago. This sounds like fun!
Although I no longer have any true stencils, I do have some great punches. I can use them to create stencils relatively easily.
Have to figure out how to approach this, but definitely want to take this challenge.
Thanks for hosting a good challenge! #>

Well, I have just the stencils because I bought some at the show in Sept. and have not used them yet! Looking forward in doing this challenge.

Thanks for the challenge, Jan! I described my experience in the Inktoberfest chat thread (made a mess, ha!) and in the descriptions in the gallery.
Here (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=4680#top_display_media) are my 4 stenciled pieces.
And here is the birthday card (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=4679#top_display_media) I made.
I definitely had some inky fun today!

Jan, I just wanted to let you know that you accidentally had two threads for your challenge, so you may want to look through both to see all the entries.

Oh ya, some how I have 2 identical posts for this challenge...including all the posts for this challenge. Thankfully all the players names have been entered and I have drawn the name of the RAK recipient.
But first let me say to big thanks to everyone. I had a great time enjoying your work. Thanks so much for playing! I will continue watching how you incorporate stencils into your cards!
But now we have a winner!..... Congratulations Nora! Glad you could join us this week!...Jan

What a delightful surprise, Jan! I only wish I had more time to play in more of the challenges offered for INK19. Life has been quite busy here at this end, and especially welcoming and celebrating the birth of our new great-grand-daughter who was born on Halloween. I know I will be using the stencils made for your challenge for other card backgrounds. It was such fun, and I thank you for your challenge!
