Ok, I spaced it! My tag went out to the mailbox today! At least I remembered to take a picture, hehehe.

And I received Daniel's tag this weekend also. It is awesome!

Hi All!

Kathy. Glad the tag arrived. Answered your PM, but will add it here, too. Yes, please, on sending me pix so I can upload it.

Sarah. Great! I'll watch my mailbox.

Finally got a chance to upload the tag I sent to Heidi. I was going by memory what all I did so I think it's mostly correct!
Here it is

SWLady (Kathy) provided me with great pix of my humble tag. Here's the front & back of the tag. There are also close-ups, but I figure y'all can find them without a link.

I received a wonderful tag from Kathy today, so you can go ahead and post the pic you remembered to take.  O0  I really love the sparkle on it.

Here is my harvesty September tag. I used my rec'd kit to make it so it will be posted in two places!

Harvest Tag

For the background I used crushed olive mowed lawn and antique linen distress inks. Then I inked an embossing folder with the crushed olive and ran it through the embosser. I sprayed it with lots of shimmer mist which you can't really see in my picture. I colored the images I got in my KIAE kit and mounted on patterned paper. I love these wooden dots!

Kathy. I read your 'shadow' comment. I thot it was a texture in the materials you used.  ;D Looks great anyway! O0

I finally posted the tag I sent Daniel:

Pumpkin Tag Front

Pumpkin Tag Back

I used Distress Inks to color the image and the base of the tag was made from the paper towel I use to wipe Distress Inks off my craft mat. Whenever I color with Distress Inks, I smoosh them on my craft mat.  When I'm done, I spritz with water and wipe up what's left.  This sometimes results in some really pretty paper towels.  So I started saving them.  For the front, I applied a piece to cardstock with Mod Podge and I ran into some problems.  I wasn't getting the paper towel wet enough to glue down both layers of the 2 ply paper towel in one go.  So I had to go back and apply more glues in places.  For the back, I pulled the 2 plies apart and applied them to the cardstock individually.  The color wasn't bright enough if I just used one ply.

Daniel may have recognized the wood veneer leaves I used on the tag because they were unused items from my kept kit from August.

Hey Sarah-just wondering where do sign and date your tag when you create on both sides?  That's where I usually also attach the instructions so they are always with the tag...but I guess that is not essential.  Thanks for sharing your way.

Jan - I write it in at the bottom of what I consider the back of the tag, which is usually the less involved/ embellished side.   And I never remember to include the instructions.  But I always include them when I post the tag.  So I figure that covers it.

This months swap has probably got to be my favorite. I loved seeing everyone's tags and the use of the distress products. Great work everyone! I think I left praise for everyone but I will double check that later tonight.

I think signing your tag on the bag might be a good idea. I have lots of tags and I've forgotten who made them!
