Apparently, today is national color day. So, in honor of that, I want you to color a stamped image. I don't care what you color it, just color.
Requirements: Color a stamped image. You do not have to complete a project but you can.
Be sure to include CIINK15 as a keyword when you post your project to the gallery. And link your project to this thread.
Combining challenges: Sure, as long as the other host allows combos.
Deadline: Friday, 10/23 by noon your time.
There will be a small RAK for a randomly selected winner.

Cool. Usually I can get the technique done, but not be able to get it made into a finished product. I appreciate the leeway with this challenge!
-
I figured since it was a quick drive-by, it might be tough to get a complete project done.

It was fun to practice coloring with Inktense pencils that I had not used in a while. I maybe regret not usingn watercolor paper, but it was fun and I will use this result sometime.

Thanks for the drive-by!

Great piece, Heidi. Thanks for playing.
-
What a fun idea for a drive by! I'm sure I can get something done and uploaded.
Heidi, your cupcake turned out great! I've been trying to get more comfortable with the inktense pencils and haven't had much luck using regular cardstock.
-
This was fun to do! Thanks for hosting a drive by, Sarah!
Hoping I can get these turned into some cards -

Thanks for the tip about paper, LeighAnn. I know some of these ladies in the coloring videos do not have an issue watercoloring on regular card, but I just think it is a lot harder for a beginner colorer who is not as fast as they are....
-
I have been wanting to do the Art Impressions watercolor technique all week since I saw the demo at the stamp show! Your challenge gave me the opportunity! It took 4 attempts before I got the look I wanted! Talk about down to the wire!!! :-\

I actually colored a stamp last night, well I didn't actually color the stamp I colored the image from the stamp. I forgot to bring it to work today to scan and upload so no entry for me.....but I wanted you to know I did attempt to finish the drive by. I should have just put the piece of paper with the colored image in my purse last night and then I could have scanned it and uploaded it after seeing this challenge here........

Thanks Sarah for the fun drive-by and for leaving it open to my local time. It is now 10:43 am here but it would not have been done this morning before 8am. I am never good at thinkiing about how to strategize playing in event challenges...I suppose it would be a smart use of time to work with familiar stamps and technique...no I select a brand new stamp with a specialized style that I am not familiar with. LOL! Oh well, it is about the learning for me and I am happy I started getting a feel for this stamp set...thanks!
Here is my link to the gallery. (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?pid=2083&message_id=547b2756eed93d258be23d571e04f2f1&message_icon=info#cpgMessageBlock)
Thanks for looking!...Jan

Great job coloring ladies. I will pick a winner when I get home tonight.
-
I used a random number generator and numbered you in order of your post. And the winner is:
LeighAnn
Congrats, LeighAnn. If you don't mind, I'm going to make one trip to the post office next week after my main challenge closes. And you haven't moved yet, right? If so, I need your new address.
And thanks ladies for participating in my drive-by.
Sadie - bummer about forgetting to bring your piece to work to scan. :(
-
Congrats, LeighAnn!

Congrats, LeighAnn! Your images are so cute!

Oh, wow!,thanks Sarah!
I haven't moved so send it out whenever it's convenient for you. Why oh why can't the post office can't get on board with a drive thru system? It would be so helpful :)
-
I tend to use the automated kiosks. So much better than standing in line.
-
kiosks at the Post office? i haven't seen them!
-
Your post office doesn't have those automated centers? It has a scale to weigh packages and then buy the postage. You can also buy stamps. The only down side is that you have to use a credit or debit card.

Nope, no kiosks at all. I hope they add something by Christmastime!

I added a link in my last post while you were posting.
