Sorry I'm a few days late. We've had company.
For this month, I'm thinking PINE. You can use the image, or the color, however the word inspires you ... or wouldn't scratch and sniff be fun?!
Please post to the "Christmas Cards All Year 2018" album in the gallery and share a link here in the forum. Thanks for playing along! I look forward to seeing your cards, whether you use the prompt or not.

sounds good :)

Thanks Cindi! It is a new month, and with a schedule starting to take shape, I really hope to get into more of a groove with cardmaking time. Thanks for hosting!

Wonderful cards, April! Pines three ways ... stamped, die cut and embossed! The leaping reindeer really tickled me! Love the whole scene!
Pines three ways
As soon as I had that thought, I also had the thought "I think we are watching too much Food Network on tv!"
Thanks for taking the challenge!

I posted three cards! Actually, they represent a total of
eight eleven cards. Some duplicates and some similar. I posted the rest of them in my scrapbook.com gallery. I hope that doesn't irritate anyone. I don't seem to have the energy to post all of them here, one card at a time. Plus, I'd fill up the gallery that way.

I have a few more in the works, but I've been away this past week. I have errands and appointments and housework to do now that I'm home. I hope I can find the time to make some more Christmas cards!

Your cards are striking, Nora! Love their nice clean look. I wouldn't have thought of cutting the Sizzix tree in white. It looks great!

I created 5 cards using a one sheet wonder layout. For various reasons, I altered layouts for more variety, and added quite a bit to them because I have found that although these one sheet wonders are captivating due to their frugality, they can also produce kind of sparce-looking cards. I had a lot of fun with this and will probably do more.

Heidi, I like the way you spiffed up your one sheet wonders! What a nice set of cards!
Connie, you're on a roll with the pine prompt! All pines, all different, all pretty!
Thanks to both of you for linking up here!

You still have a few days left in September to play with "pine"!
I'm going on vacation for the first week in October, so I'm going to post the October prompt early, but don't feel rushed out of September 8)
I'm so impressed with the number of Christmas cards that got finished this month! Yay inkers!
