Several of us stated in the 2018 planning thread that we wanted to use the stuff we already have. Well, here is the challenge to help you do that. I would like your to first think of some supplies you have that you want to use. Post it here in this thread. Then, sometime before January 15th, make a project (any kind of project) using your supplies and upload it to the gallery.
Your supplies can be new items you haven’t used yet, neglected older items, etc. It’s up to you.
Any questions?

I can’t seem to get any photos to add today, but I have some new Purple Onion stamps I would like to use for this challenge.
-
Thanks for the challenge! I was recently gifted some gently used stamps and I will use them. I will post a picture soon.

Thanks for the challenge! When I was cleaning up the craft room before Christmas, I set aside some paper that I wanted to use. I know I can find some stamps or dies to go with it.
-
Great! I am glad you both have been able to pin down what supplies you will use! Have fun!

I have a really long list of supplies I want to use or loose in 2018:
brads
buttons
sequins
pattern paper
unused stamps
etc.
I did actually make a card this week using some brads. I'll have to post a picture (once I take one).

I have so much paper it is crazy, I really need to quit buying more and use more of it on my cards
-
5 more days to work on this challenge!
-
Plan on making a card tomorrow!

April, way to shop your stash! Wonderful card!

Here is my card using the purple onion stamps that I was hoping to use! I still have a few others that I want to use as well, although I realized I must not have remembered (I mean Santa forgot) the little stick with marshmallows to use with the campfire!

Heidi, maybe Cupid can get you that marshmallow stamp for Valentine's?

Here (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=3801#top_display_media) is my entry. I made a birthday card for my mom from a kit I had put together quite some time ago, and recently discovered again! I also had fun using my Kiwi Lane templates.
Below is the inside of the card (I trimmed off the sign that the hedgehog was holding and made him a birthday banner).
Hedgehog : Ellen Hutson
Banner : Stampin Up
Cake and Celebrate : CTMH
I will also attach a pic of my "kit".
Today I hope to make more cards from the rest of the kit.

Cindi! What a great little kit you made. I like that striped paper you cut into a small strip on your card. I wans’t sure if that was ribbon or paper. The inside is cute too!
Thanks for playing with my challenge! I’m glad you got to use your kit!

Wow nothing like getting something posted at the last minute when I have had it done for a few days, I manage to use up almost 3 pieces of 6x6 paper on this one card :)

Here I used a very old stamp from SU that is a distressed image for a plaid background. It hasn't been inked since I used it in for a challenge at 2 Peas. The card is for some neighbors who dropped during the holidays with a "welcome to neighborhood" gift bag that included a superb almond flavored Fig tea cake...so delish as well as extremely thoughtful!
Connie, I too saw your guest artist blog post after making this card..our minds must have been on the same track. Kudos on a great post!
Thanks Heidi for the challenge which got me inky during these first weeks of 2018!
-
I was so glad to see two new entries today when I logged in. How wonderful! Thanks for doing my challenge.
I am glad this has helped you take action on using the things you have been meaning to use!

Yesterday I finished another card from my 'kit'. A Valentine (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=3805#top_display_media) for DH. I didn't think he'd mind that it wasn't pink, ha! Thanks again for the challenge, Heidi. I hope to keep going with this kit.

Cindi, that is so great you were able to get two cards (and counting) done with your kit! Way to go. I really like it, too!
