In this challenge you must use only one of each kind of supply you decide to use. Let’s say you want to use stamps, nope not stamps just one stamp. Arrows, yup, only one. Paint, only one color. Patterned paper, only one. Embossing folders, only one. Embossing powders, only one. Embellishments, only one of each kind, one flower, one brad, one wooden piece, one metal, one button, just one of each kind. But you must use at least 12 different things.
In many ways this is quite hard to do, but in others it should make the process go more smoothly. You know from the start you cannot use more than one of each thing you might normally use two or three of on a project. So pick and choose carefully.
This entire challenge is to get you to look at what you have and stretch to use it, one at a time.
Just think of all the different embellishments and mediums you own, what can you use one at a time to make a dozen?

Remember to have fun and use what you have one at a time……..and yes this challenge can be combined with other challenges that also include combining.

This is going to require a lot of thought.
I've got a couple of questions. Can we stamp that one stamp multiple times, or just once? And what about a die, can we use multiple cuts of the one shape we picked or just once?

Just once, you can only use the product or stamp or embellishment just once. Which makes it hard! Which is why my sample isn't done yet.
So far on my sample I have;
1 stamp
1 color distress ink
1 piece of ribbon
1 eyelet
1 enamel star
1 jewel
1 plastic star
So far I'm not liking it so much. I have grown used to using so many different colors and papers that this is just hard for me.

I wonder how often I use 12 things on a card, period. Really good challenge! Thanks for hosting!

Howdyheidi you can use more than 12 different things but you need to use at least 12. You can only use one of each thing though. That is the hard part for me, using one color of distress ink, one enamel thing, one plastic thing........that is what makes this hard for me.

I've got my card finished but it is drying. But here is the list of things I got on it:
1 stamp inked with
1 color of ink (Color Box Chestnut Roan Chalk ink) on
1 piece of plain colored cardstock (orange) framed by
1 piece of patterned paper with
1 die cut shape cut from the center, and embellished with
1 piece of ribbon
1 enamel sticker
1 wood veneer frame
1 paper flower
1 brad
1 button
1 piece of twine
1 punched leaf colored with
1 embossing powder (mahogany tinsel)
1 gem
1 sequin
1 microbead in the center of the sequin
1 faux enamel dot made with liquid pearls
For a total of: 18
I'll post a picture later today. And I may work on another one since I spotted a bunch of stuff in my stash that I could work into a card - I've got flock and mica chips and flower soft.

1 wooden car-painted with frosted lace stickles

1 pop tape on metal plate

1 black soot distress paint around the edges
18 different products only using each once. The hardest part was only using each product one time. I didn't realize how hard that would be. Ok I forgot a couple there really are 21 different things.
1 Tim Holtz splatter stencil
1 Viva Ferro Special Effects paste
1 Ranger white effects pen- used on some parts of the car.

Great sample, Sadie. This is definitely one that requires some thinking.
I will eventually upload a picture of my card. But my camera battery has to recharge first.

Sadie, I have to admit this one mad me a bit nervous ;D.
I'm pretty certain this is the first time I made a card with so many different supplies but I'm really happy with how it turned out. One thing that helped me is to start with my focal image and a color and I built he card around that.
Thank you, Sadie! This pushed me out of my comfort zone and I used a button on my card. Something I haven't done in a while!

Wow! Craft Nerd and lovepug2 what wonderful cards. They both look beautiful. lovepug2, I usually use this many things on a card just not one only of each things. That is the part that stretched me; I couldn't use my acrylic paint or distress ink in different colors, it could only be used once.

Wow this was difficult for me and when my hubby saw it he said wow is that busy. I wrote the list of items on my post. I was given a lot of these things from a fellow cardmaker, I don't normally do halloween cards but usually send one to my daughter with some money, so she will be getting this one.

This is on my list to try during Hangover week. The good thing for me is that there are so many great examples now!

I completed my project during Hangover week. This was a hard challenge, but I thought that it was really good to be able to use so many different embellishments. I also had to think about how to make them intereting, such as using my one ink to do an ombre effect over my stamp. In addition, I think that the design stuff helps, because I did think about grounding each of the elements, partly by grouping them together.

What a wonderful card. I really like how everything went together so well. Using the design challenges does make one look at things a little differently doesn't it? Thank you for playing along during hangover week.
