SF18 Off Stamp --- WINNER!

(1/4) > >>

stampwilly:
For this challenge you will need a background stamp, but if you don't have one you can also use a large outline stamp. I will show you how to work with both.

The first card at the bottom is using a background stamp. I stamped the background using 3 colors of Oxide inks. (you can also use Distress or any dye based inks). I applied the first color on my stamp, spritzed the stamp a little with water and stamped. I used another color, spritzed with water and stamped the stamp a little off to the side from the other stamped impression, then I did the same thing for a third time. Each time stamp a little off to the side from where you stamped the last time. Play with a few backgrounds, please show the backgrounds here on this post or link them to here from the gallery. Then chose one background to make a card with. Please make sure you use a stamped image on your card, not just a saying. Also link your card here so that we will not miss it. Please use the heading SF18 Off Stamp.

As I said you can also use an outline stamp to make a background. The 2nd card -- flower background was made in this way. I stamped the flower several times in one color, spritzed the stamp with water before stamping. Then I did off stamping with another color, spritzed with water and then one more time.

You may try both ways or chose one. Just play and have fun!

Since we don't have a lot of people playing, please do not combine this challenge with another SF challenge.

I will also be giving an RAK to a randomly picked winner! You may enter as often as you wish. I will put your name in the bowl for each entry you make.

This is a neat technique you came up with April!  All your backgrounds look neat!  Hey, who makes that tiger stamp, that is really a nice card.

Thanks for hosting!

Iring:
This looks like a fun way to use our background stamps and/or images.  I like your samples!  The tiger looks like he's peering through the jungle.
Thanks for hosting.

Conniecrafter:
Looks so neat with the plaid

Conniecrafter:
Well I did 3 backgrounds and the last one the plaid was my favorite, glad I kept trying.
