Hi Everyone! Here is the new challenge for June 29 - July 5!
You have heard the term "spittin' image", well I am calling this challenge "splittin' image"! I saw this idea on pinterest. It is self explanatory as you will see below. On my card the middle white panel is measured at 2 .25 x 3.75. Place this white panel in the middle of your white card front and stamp your image. Only color what is on the small panel. Make a mat of another color for your colored panel and line it up. Decorate as you wish. Have fun!
Please post your card in the gallery with the heading Splittin' Image and link your card here so that we won't miss it. I can't wait to see what you make!

Thanks for the nice compliments on my card. I can't wait to see all of yours! You can use this technique with the Christmas in July challenge if that is fine with Daria.

Made time to do the challenge Used a Stampendous stamp of a seed package.
Colored with pencils for a soft look. Didn’t like it, so I heat embossed the whole image in clear embossing powder.
Matted the image in brown.
I have done this image before in pencils ,but it must have been watercolor pencils .

I'm so glad I got a chance to try this technique this afternoon. It went pretty quickly and unfortunately I need a sympathy card. My cousin lost a grandchild ( 1 of a pair of twins). They were pre-mature and one twin only lived about an hour and a half. They must feel a roller coaster of emotions.
Thanks for hosting the challenge!
