Hello everyone! Because this is sortof a fall festival, I thought I would make my challenge to use a leaf stamp on your project, but I want you to use it repeatedly. In any sort of creative way you would like.
I did make one example.

Rules:
Create a new project for this challenge. Gallery code will be INK17-LEAF.
You may combine with only one other INK17 challenge.
There will be a RAK which is a new Distress Oxide inkpad in Fired Brick and maybe a few other things. If you already have it, let me know!

O-o-o I thought from your title that I would be adding gold leaf to something-lol! But oh I will be happy to pull out my leaf stamps. I have some beautiful leaves in a leaf press sitting on my desk...perhaps it is time to open it up for some more inspiration. Thanks for a fun challenge Heidi!
-
Perfect for this time of year :)
-
Cute title and great idea for a fall fest! Looking forward to releafing!

I had fun taking your challenge Heidi. My card is pretty simple.

I had fun taking your challenge Heidi. My card is pretty simple.
Thanks for doing my challenge, Daniel! Left praise in the gallery!
-
I couldn't resist doing another piece for your challenge, Heidi.
I used no masking (very hard for me :o) but I like how it worked out.
Course I had to fc the birds & wreath. ::)
BTW Heidi... What's different about the oxide inks?
-
Daniel, another great entry! Thanks for playing!
The Distress Oxide inks are pigment/dye hybrid and when you add water to the mix, they get a white oxidized look. They are really nice for sponging, backgrounds and stamping.
-
Thanks for the oxide info Heidi.
Glad you like the card.

Made a simple get well card with the leaves around the center.
-
Here is my entry. I have all the oxide ink colors. Don't you just love them?

Oh man can you believe I lost another stamp set of leaves, I really have to get better organized, I just hope they weren't thrown away by accident... I did manage to find some other ones though and went with a totally different idea :)

Another birthday card done for this month, so glad I have been able to use the challenges for Birthday cards I need and for a few more Christmas ones done :)
-
I love all the entries in this challenge. They all have their own personalities! And there are so many great leaf stamps out there. Connie, I hope you find your missing ones! Thanks for taking my challenge!
-
Found them!!!! was telling hubby about it this morning when I showed him my card and it popped in my head where it may be and sure enough I put it in a folder of other dies because the set was a stamp and die set :) Now if I could just find my penny black stamp that would be great!
-
I decided to go for a bit of my latest entry. Although it doesn't show in the pic, I stylus-embossed the elements. I applied colors (ink, pencils & crayons) in layers & burnished to blend.
It's in the gallery, but I'll attach it here too.

Some of these challenges have really been a challenge for you, Daniel, with limited supplies but you have pulled them off beautifully!
April

I love this entry, Daniel! Glad you are making good use of the challenges!
-
Since I already had the leaf stamp handy, I used it on another card. Bear wanted to join our fest (luau)?
-
I'm sorry I didn't complete your challenge Heidi. Just ran out of time :( . I hope to do it anyway, some time this week. I need Daria to host a hangover week!
-
Finally, I am posting my first and last 2 cards for Inktoberfest :-\ Life just got way too busy this week...mostly in a good way but not for making cards. Thank you Heidi for hosting and I certainly did have a good time with your challenge. Do know I do not have any oxide inks yet...so the color would be fun for Christmas cards.

Thanks to everyone who played along! I hope those of you who did not finish in time will still link up their projects in this thread so everyone can see them. I know I missed a couple challenges this fest, too, and I hope to finish them up this week.
ANYHOW, I counted up the entries, numbered them and used a Random Number generator to pick the RAK winner. It picked Daniel! (He had a 50% chance anyhow since he was able to do so many entries!)
Daniel, I will try to get your RAK out tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great Inktoberfest! Here’s to many more fests!
-
Thanks Heidi. Your challenge was one of favorite ones, hence my several entries.
All of the others did pieces that were just wonderful. WTG all.
-
Congratulations Daniel! This challenge is on my list of things to do this week.
-
Congrats, Daniel!

I stamped a ton of leaves tonight! I made 6 copies of this card (https://pin.it/btu9C5A) I had pinned on Pinterest. I love the colors and layout of the pinned card. Mine is close, but I think my leaves are bigger. I also love the dark chocolate brown on the pinned card. Anyone have a brown ink that you love? I used Colorbox Chestnut Roan, but it is not quite as dark and rich.
Here is my version
Happy Thanksgiving (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=3659#top_display_media)
Thanks for the challenge Heidi! I really needed to do some fall stamping. Fall is short-lived. Glad I didn't miss the opportunity to stamp fall leaves.
-
Very beautiful card. Great way to actually use an idea that you pinned!
I have Gina K Dark Chocolate that might be the color you are looking for. I also have Chestnut Roan and it is much darker than that (although I really like Chestnut Roan for stamping woodgrain onto craft.)
Thanks for playing and linking!

I got Heidi's rak today. TY pal. The oxide ink looks great.
Heidi also included some stamps that were in her 'not-used-in-a-while' stash. I'll definitely be using them.

Glad it came safely! I was fairly sure you would like the Christmas set, Daniel! Glad to hear you will use them!
