I'm calling November's challenge "Thankfull for my LTLs*".
Chances are that somewhere in all our stashs lurks one or more LTL stamp/stamps. An LTL is one that (for whatever reason) has fallen out of favor & use in in our pieces. So...
For this month's challenge you must find & use the LTL (s) as the focal element(s) on your piece(s).
You may share why the stamp(s) are/became LTL, but it's not required.
Here's an example. Although I'm thankful for all the stamps I've received from my friends here at AI, this set is not one that would be a regular go-to for me. That said, however, I can definitely see ways to use them.
* 'less-than-liked/loved' ;)

You have peeked my interest!

I really like your sample, so for being LTL you made something sweet out of it! Hmmm, what stamp(s) can I use ...
-
Interesting challenge! So, this is stamps that we don’t use, but it is possible that we used to like it and no longer do? Or is it just ones we mostly never liked much?
Thanks for hosting!
-
Good question Heidi.
I'd say the greatest challenge would be to work with stamps that you didn't much care for..
But... If your stash doesn't contain any, then I'd shoot for using ones that haven't seen ink in quite a while--the longer they've gone inkless; the better for this challenge.
OK?
-
Hmmm, I have a few stamps that I have been given that I am not sure what I would do with, so this will be a challenge to use them. I just love what you did with yours, sweet card!
-
Good luck Connie.
Often I can employ LTL(s) in a supporting role, but making it/them the focus is a whole other challenge.
That's why I made the focus requirement. ;D

There is stamp I never used, not my style, raw rubber ( hate raw rubber)
Do not know why I still even have it!
But I made a card, just for you!
-
So happy u played Sheila! I agree with you. This is an image that is challenging.
One use might be to stamp it 5 times so it forms a star.
And...LOL on hating raw rubber. It's my favorite! ;D

I chose this tree stamp because it has been hanging around here for years but little used because when I do play with it, it's a challenge! The technique I was thinking of when I bought it hasn't really worked out (paper piecing) And, this time it was also not giving me a complete image on one corner of the trunk so I had to rock the stamp a bit! I meant to go over that corner with a black gel pen, but forgot to do it before I took the pic, so you can see it in the gallery in the bottom card. By the time I made the next trees I learned to rock the trunk! I think another reason it has been LTL is that it is one wooden stamp, not part of a set with matching sentiment or accompanying stamps as we are accustomed to now with clear stamps or Stampin Up sets, so it takes a little more work to find a suitable sentiment that goes ok with the folksy look of this stamp. As it turns out, Hero Arts made one or two more stitched trees, but I don't have them.
Thank you for the challenge Daniel, as now I have a few more ideas of how I might use this stamp ... maybe you will see them in the near future.
I made a total of 5 cards for my Christmas card stash.
A Tangle of Tannenbaums (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=3696#top_display_media)
A Tattered Trio of Tannenbaums (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=3697#top_display_media)
Just so happens these fit with last month's Christmas All Year prompt "O Tannenbaum" and the Stamping in Groups challenge.

LOL April.
Since you didn't name the group, I took the liberty...

Okay. I found this cow stamp that I never use. I bought it in Scotland for a souvenir! We saw these shaggy cows on our tour! This one looks very grumpy but they are really docile animals and they look so funny with all that hair! Thanks for the fun challenge!

This really wasn't for the group challenge, I made a christmas card for that one and named it. But it is fine if you wanted to name this one.
April
-
Lol April! I declare it a group with a group name.
And I'm sure the stamp was happy for the exercise
-
And in the spirit of complete disclosure?
I plum forgot this wasn't my groups challenge
Silly me... O0

I went along the lines of neglected stamps, not unliked stamps, the same as Cindi. This stamp set was gifted to me and I do like it, but I had a lot of trouble coloring the images and, in the end, gave up for a while! It is funny how things don’t work out how you think they will sometimes!!!

I should go through my non-Christmas stamps too. I am sure I will come up with more neglected stamps, and only hope I have time to this month.
-
Good job pal!
Thanks for taking the challenge.

Ok I honestly can not find the stamp I was thinking of using for this challenge so I picked a stamp that I had in my pile of not sure what I will do with it stamp pile, I stamped the image twice on top of one another for an interesting big image. Sorry about posting later than I said I would, I totally forgot.
