Wonderful cards, Heidi,Jan and April!

I was in JoAnns today and bought another EF. The Darice brand is on sale for $2.50. I need to try this technique out soon!

Just a few days left before the challenge ends! Where has September gone? We only have 2 cards so far. Hopefully we can squeeze a few more in before the 30th! ???

Here's my entry, April. I used your challenge as a springboard for both the KIAE & Tag Swaps.

I'm definitely going to need some more clear EP.

Thank, Daniel, for doing this challenge. Great tag with lots of details. I like that you did something on the back too.

Thanx, April. I had fun using the EPs. I definitely want to try doing a bit more with the 'granular' effect--heating the EP just enough to slightly melt it.

I am so enjoying your oldies challenges. Always fun to see new ways to work with old, eh?! ;)

Here is the card I used the "stamping"-using-an-embossing-folder technique. leaf card

and a zoomed view of the leaf cut-outs I used the technique on: zoomed leaves

I had to do the technique a few times since not enough of the EF stamped, then I remembered April said to use a brayer so I used my rolly brayer thingy that's for my slice machine. I thought it was a brayer just black rubber.  When I clean the versamark off it, it leaves behind lots of black stuff on the rag. Bleh!  :coolsmiley: :P  do the brown bracers do that?

Using the brayer did help with the results though. I do want to try this more. TY for this challenge April and for showing this technique!

Thanks for the challenge April!

I used red and iridescent embossing powders to create this birthday card inspired by your Oldies challenge and Daniel's Create a cupcake challenge.  I also used the technique of inking an embossing folder on the cupcake liner.

Here you can see the card front.
The card inside.
Details on the cupcake here.

Here is a picture showing the stamps and embossing folder I used.  The skirt of the dress is the cupcake frosting.

April, this doesn't qualify for your challenge as I didn't use an image stamp ... but I wanted to link it here as I was inspired by your challenge to do more heat embossing than usual.  I also used your embossing folder technique to create a background.  This is a very sparkly card!
It's an anniversary card for my parents, married 55 years.

Happy embossed anniversary

I finally got a couple projects put together for this challenge.  The embossing is on the backgrounds of both projects.  Thank you Stampwilly for hosting this challenge.  And thank you to any who look at my projects.
