Connie, you enabler you!  Ha!

I've been thinking about a Gemini Jr too.
I just watched videos by Justine Hovey and Laurel Beard.  They both say they have the Jr and like it.

Yeah, that's one way I justified buying a Silhouette ... but I still buy dies!  I think the Scan n Cut is a little quicker at scanning and cutting than the Silhouette, so maybe ...

One problem for me is I would probably still keep my Sizzix in order to use my old, thick steel rule dies.  So now there's another machine to store.

Connie, did you keep a Sizzix?  Or don't you use steel rule dies?

I'm looking forward to seeing your acetate embellishments!  I missed this swap due to vacation.  I like the samples you posted, Jan.

I had a cuttlebug Cindi and yes I still have that and I have my spellbinders grand calibur for my few big dies that I have.
I too have a silhouette machine and I just don't have it permanently sitting out so it doesn't get used, plus it seemed to take me so long to get it working that it was just easier for me to use a crank machine and dies than the silhouette, maybe if I had it sitting out it would get used more but i don't have room for it to be always accessible.

Connie, I put your Happy Mail into the mail yesterday.  It sounds like everyone will be receiving them at nearly the same time. I always love it when I know I am going to get some real mail! Can't wait to see what everyone used for their embellishments.  I didn't think about using dies to cut the stamped image.  I only have a handful of stamp-die combos.  But great idea for those who have them.

Thanks everyone for playing!...Jan

Wow April your card arrived YESTerday!  I believe that is one of the fastest cards I've received from you.  I think you sent spring northward with your card's pretty bright colors! It is to be warmer today and tomorrow.  Ha, I never think of a white background for spring...but sure that meets the rule of our younger years to not wear white until after the 1st day of spring. Now that I see your cards I feel I should have focused more on brighter colors. I love the dimensional acetate embellishments. I will add more once you post it in the gallery!  Many thanks for sharing your talent!...Jan

Here is the card I sent Jan. Thanks, Jan, for this challenge. I had not made acetate embellishments for a long time. It was fun doing it again!

I asked t players in this challenge to make at least 6 embellishments. 1 of which (at least) will be added to the card sent to your assigned player.  The others are to use as you wish.  I hope everyone posts their extra embellishments in the gallery when they post their cards so we can share in each others ideas.  Thanks! Jan

I can't wait to hear what Jan used on my card, she got great coverage with her coloring, it almost looks like she painted on it and she did double layer, so cool and her embossed background turned out great
