I am sad that they are closing but I am wondering if this won’t help the smaller businesses.  Darice had fairly cheap dies and embossing folders compared to other companies and maybe people will switch their loyalties to another small company option instead?

Any thoughts?

I'm a little bummed about Darice closing.  I have several of their embossing folders and I really like them.

It may help smaller businesses.  I'll admit that if there are two similar designs, I usually go with the cheaper unless I have a strong preference for the more expensive option.

Oh wow that's a shame, I have quite a few of their folders too.  I do tend to go for the cheaper ones too.

Bummer.  Stinks that Michael's is keeping the Chinese sources and getting rid of American workers at Darice.   I am less and less a fan of Michaels.
