It time for another fun game of BINGO! I hope you are ready!
I will be gone to stamp show in TN Saturday and Sunday so I will start calling out words on MONDAY, Oct. 19.
You will have had your list of words sent to me by Friday, Oct. 16. This is how it works.
I will put up 3 words from the master list on this post each day starting on MONDAY. I will try to put up the words after 6 pm. If you have any of the words, mark them off your list. As soon as you have all the words on your list marked off, post BINGO here on this post. If several people post BINGO I will look to see who posted first and they will be the winner. I will send an RAK to the winner! Looking forward to a good time and to the fun competition!

Yay!
-
I think I'm going through withdrawal having to wait until Monday for my first 3 words. :D Which of course will all be words I've picked because I'm so winning this time.
-
??? What?! ??? We have to wait? You're really going to make us wait?! That's just mean! Haha!
Lucky you! Have a wonderful time at the stamp show and I'd love some "show and tell" when you get back!
-
Is it Monday yet? ;D
-
Cindi, my friend. patience is a virtue. As for me, I'm immersed in patience; and I shall receive my just reward.
Daria
-
Hello!
-
Hi! Sorry I am a bit late. t has been a rushed evening. Are we ready? Here are the first 3 words!
5. birch
12. holly
24. walnut
Good luck everyone!
April
-
Yes-yes I'm here too!
-
I sat under a lovely birch tree eating walnuts. That's 2 words for me tonight. Off to a good start.
-
patience is a virtue
Heehee, yeah, yeah, patience schmatience! Haha!
Holly! I'll take it! Deck the halls with boughs of holly! Falalala la lala la la!
-
Birch trees are lovely, but holly has berries. So which do you prefer? (I'll take both of them. Yeah!)
Daria
-
My childhood home had both birch trees and holly bushes. True statement. Is holly a tree or a bush, I always thought it was a bush?
I think the sentences for this one are going to be harder with this theme!
-
Birch trees remind me of camping in Northern Michigan as a kid, and Walnut trees remind me of the tree we had in our yard and how we had to pick them up every week before my Dad mowed the lawn. I have a Holly tree out front and it has lot's of red berries on it... that is 3 for me #>
-
Hush little baby don't you cry
cause mama's gonna buy you a birch tree
and if that birch tree makes you sad
mama's gonna buy you a walnut tree instead
And if that walnut tree rocks you to sleep
by dropping walnuts on your head
mama's gonna be sad
cause those are the only two words
mama got this time.
-
Good for you, Sadie. I wondered how we'd manage putting the Bingo Words into sentences this time. lol.
Heidi, I also thought that holly was a bush. I googled it, and some grow to 70 feet tall! There are shrubs and trees, but I suspect the trees are pruned into that shape. However, I don't really know. Any holly experts out there? I was surprised to read that the leaves that are higher off the ground don't have the characteristic shape we are accustomed to seeing. The sharp leaves are lower down where the bush needs protection from hungry animals.
Daria
-
What a fun poem, Sadie! Any discussions, poems or whatever is fine for this Bingo! I have seen both holly trees and holly bushes, but I am not sure if the bush is a small tree either! LOL!
Well I went ahead and looked it up and it seems (though it was not too clear) that there are both. There are different species of holly and it seems some grow into bushes and some into trees.
I will try to be earlier with my words tonight.
April
-
Who knew?! Well now I want to find a holly tree because I am pretty sure I have only seen bushes.
-
Nice one Sadie.
And don't get too confident, Connie, with your three words, I'm winning this time.
-
Let's take poll. Who has never won bingo? Me! #>
-
#>back at you Heidi, me too!
I don't play too often cause I don't understand what the object of "smack" is. I don't see or hear it here.
-
Okay, here are 3 more words!
8. cypress
14. maple
20. spruce
Hope these help some of you.
April ;D
-
I think there is a cypress tree in this stamp. (http://www.123stitch.com/item/Stampendous-Cling-Poppy-Scene-Cling-Rubber-Stamp/CRM234)

I haven't won Bingo but I did win the candy creation twist from a few years ago.
I have that stamp, Heidi. I don't think I've used it on anything - I did include it in a kit but never used the kept ones.
If I was going to get a live Christmas tree, I think I would want a blue spruce.
That makes 3 for me.
-
Well, the good news is I do not have to worry about using any of the words in clever sentences, poems, riddles, or anything else.
Time to show how really patient I can be. :knuppel2:
Daria
-
Hush little baby don't you cry
cause mama's gonna buy you a birch tree
and if that birch tree makes you sad
mama's gonna buy you a walnut tree instead
And if that walnut tree rocks you to sleep
by dropping walnuts on your head
mama's gonna buy you a maple tree
and if that maple tree turns red
mama's gonna be sad again
cause mama only has 3 words so far
-
Love it Sadie!
"Patience is a virtue" Daria ;) heeheehee
Nothin' better than real maple syrup on my waffles!
Only 2, slowly but surely ...
-
I like that stamp, Heidi. We are coming along, slowly but surely.
Okay -- here is a TWIST to the game. Since we have a list of trees I would like for you to make a project of any kind that has a tree on it. You can stamp the tree, die cut one, use an embossing folder of a tree, etc. There must be a stamped image on your project. If your tree is stamped that can be your image, if not then you must have another stamped image on your project. Please load your project to the gallery with the words INK15BINGO and link it here on this post. You have until the the 25th to post your project. I will also give a random RAK to a winner. Here is a sample card --

Have fun!
April
-
I need to spruce up my maple tree :) 2 more for me
-
When we lived in England they had huge holly trees, first time I had seen them that big before, as tall as the one story houses.
-
Can the tree challenge be combined with another challenge?
-
Whoa, looks like Connie is pushing ahead. That happened to me last time and then I got no more words after that, lol.
I just got a new tree stamp, so this new challenge twist will be fun! I need to get working though I have only completed one challenge so far!
-
Yes, it can be combined, Connie. Have fun!
April
-
For those who might have missed the TWIST -- You can see it on page 2 of this post. Can't wait to see your trees!
April
-
Oh good I have one in mind
-
I have one lonely little birch tree. That's it for me so far :knuppel2:
-
I combo'd this challenge with the Show Em Some Love challenge. This card will be perfect to save for DH's birthday, since he really likes trees.

Here are Wednesday's words. I am giving a bonus of 2 words since it is hump day!
2. ash
10. dogwood
16. palm
Bonus words
1. apple
19. plum
Good luck everyone!
April
-
I had a dogwood and a plum tree in my yard as a kid, but never a palm.
I think I am at 6!
-
I doubled my count--up to four now.
I've always loved dogwoods, and I have no idea why I chose ash.
Daria
-
My father planted a dogwood in our front yard for my mom when I was a kid. And I also picked ash for no particular reason.
That puts me at 5.
-
Apple and Plum do not grow on dogwood trees but I'm up to 4 now! 8)
-
Hush little baby don't you cry
cause mama's gonna buy you a birch tree
and if that birch tree makes you sad
mama's gonna buy you a walnut tree instead
And if that walnut tree rocks you to sleep
by dropping walnuts on your head
mama's gonna buy you a maple tree
and if that maple tree turns red
mama's gonna buy you an ole ash tree
and if that ash tree looses it's bark
mama's gonna buy you an apple tree
and if the apples turn to mush
mama's gonna buy you a pretty plum tree
and if that pretty plum tree makes you sad
mama's gonna be so sad too
cause mama is only up to 6 words now.
-
Heidi, your tree card is wonderful! Looks like many of you have gained words too!
April
-
Thank goodness for the hump day bonuses!
We had an apple tree and a plum tree in our backyard growing up and that's why I picked them. 4 for me.
-
I just love the blossoms on dogwood and apple trees :)
-
Here is my tree for the challenge, I also combined it with SESL challenge, new stamp and first time using nailheads

Oh me, so sorry! You may want a new BINGO host after this fest! I have been a busy bee today and have just now gotten to this. Here are 3 more words.
6. cedar
11. hickory
25. willow
April
-
One of my favorite episodes of the tv series Buffy was the one with evil Willow, who kept saying, "Bored now."
I'm up to 6.
-
Don't look back Sarah, I'm right behind you with five.
We had a willow tree in our backyard growing up. Lots of trees in that yard!
-
We cut down a weeping willow tree in our backyard aboug 10 years ago because it was going to fall over anyhow.
I am up to 7.
-
I'm tied with Cindi. Willow brings me up to five.
Oh me, so sorry! You may want a new BINGO host after this fest!
Not a chance!
Daria
-
None for me this time, still hanging at 7
-
Hush little baby don't you cry
cause mama's gonna buy you a birch tree
and if that birch tree makes you sad
mama's gonna buy you a walnut tree instead
And if that walnut tree rocks you to sleep
by dropping walnuts on your head
mama's gonna buy you a maple tree
and if that maple tree turns red
mama's gonna buy you an ole ash tree
and if that ash tree looses it's bark
mama's gonna buy you an apple tree
and if the apples turn to mush
mama's gonna buy you a pretty plum tree
and if that pretty plum tree makes you sad
mama's gonna buy you a Hickory tree
and if that hickory tree blows down
mama's gonna be plenty sad
cause mama has 7 words this time.
Looks like 3 of us with 7 words...........
-
With luck, someone could win tonight.
On the other hand, maybe not. (Anyone ever hear of voodoo?)
Daria
-
There definitely won't be a winner tonight, because I am going to win and I can't win until Saturday. :laughhard:
-
Here are the next 3 words for Friday. Will someone be the winner???
9. crepe myrtle
17. pear
21. sweet gum
April
-
Ain't got nothin'!
-

-
My crepe myrtles are not in bloom but pears are in season.
That puts me at 8. O0
-
We had a crepe myrtle until a hurricane took it out. I'm hangin from the pear tree with 7 words!
-
Thanks for waiting Sarah, gives me a chance to climb to the top!
-
Did someone say pear? And sweetgum?
Daria of the Seven Words
-
Out of that bunch I had a partridge in a pear tree.......that makes 8 for me. (Just pretend I wrote out hush little baby with one more word, ok)
-
Okay, now it is getting interesting! Will someone win tonight? Some of you are neck in neck.
April
-
Here are SATURDAY'S WORDS! Hope we have a winner!

In the immortal words of Ralphie, "Skunked again." I got nothin'. :tickedoff:
-

-
A cherry on top makes 8!
-
Love the smell of pine and cherry cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts ..... that is 9 for me
-
Mine is 9.
I posted my card with trees in the gallery. I combined it with Connie's one layer, masking challenge. I used my favorite new tree stamp from last year.
Here is my link. (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=2103#top_display_media)
-
Believe it or not, we really did have a cherry tree in our backyard. Yummy, but you had to check for worms, eww! In Colorado, the aspen must be beautiful.
That puts me at 9 too!
wow, it's going to be neck and neck!
-
Aspen puts me at eight words.
There must be a winner somewhere. Who could it be?
Daria
-
Jan, your card is very lovely! Thanks for doing the "twist!" It looks like everyone is very close to winning BINGO! Who will it be??
April
-
So will we have one last set of words this evening?.
-
There are only five words left!
Daria
-
Yep there will be 3 words and if there is no BINGO then, I will give out the last 2 words at different times. We will see how it goes!
April
-
I made a card using two tree dies, they are both Tim Holtz dies. Everything I used on this card is made by Ranger.......
