Does anyone still use Flickr?  Do you pay for pro?

Just realized my bill went up by quite a bit ... more than doubled.

I think I initially got on Flickr way back when ... so I could enter Hero Arts challenges.  I have some old photos of cards ffrom 2009.  Lain Ehman's LOAD (Layout a Day) events took place on Flickr ... I have a few family vacations so we could share photos ...

I think I am under the 1000 photo limit for free Flickr, so I could maybe downgrade ... how annoying are the ads?

Or, I could move the pictures somewhere else.  I'm also paying for Dropbox so my iphone photos are auto backed up to that.
Dropbox is good for storage, but I don't know that it's any good for sharing pics to challenges.  I have an Instagram account ... I've seen searched some Inlinkz on challenges and some use Instagram.  I also have an old, old blog but I don't really want to go there again ... I started that mainly to upload cards to Operation Write Home.

What are your thoughts on photo backup, storage, as well as sharing photos of your stamping?

I think my photos from my blog go into google’s photo storage.  I know that people still use flicker, as I have been going through the Coffee Lover’s blog hop, and there are flicker entries. I was wondering if I should get an account, as you can’t add a comment or like the photo without one.

I don’t think I would pay for it!

You can definitely enter many blog contests with instagram, facebook, or SplitCoastStampers or probably even our gallery here.

I am over my iCloud storage and I really need to figure that out.

I think the problem with using this gallery or Splitcoast is that it would be necessary to log in before commenting.  Ahh, so Flickr is the same way?  You can't comment?

I believe Flickr is free if you have less than 1000 photos ... but you will see ads and all features aren't available.
