Title: It's (inter)National Scrapbook Day today, Saturday May 2, 2020 (and beyond)

Hooray!  It's (inter)National Scrapbook Day or NSD today!  Seems like we are usually busy for some reason and I don't get to participate.  Today I am planning to play.  I haven't scrapbooked in a long, long time.  Leave it to DH to shoot down my excuses ... I told him I need to print some pictures ... he said "scrapbook some of the pictures you have".  Alrighty then!  I was hoping to scrapbook my granddaughter,  and I can still print some pictures and do that ... or I can pick up some photos I have lying around and scrap those.

Are you planning to scrap today?

Do you stamp in your scrapbook?

What is your favorite size to scrap in?  12x12, 8x8, etc ... pocket pages, traveler's notebook, mini albums?

I hope you will have some time for discussion and playing.
Many of the challenges on Scrapbook.com (https://www.scrapbook.com/articles/international-scrapbook-day) last the entire month of May.

Please link any other NSD challenges or sales that you've seen, as well as any scrappy layouts you create.

Oh, and I think some of Scrapbook.com's challenges allow cards or tags etc. so you can probably find a way to join in even if you don't scrapbook.  I am new to their forums.  One hint I can give you is that the challenge appears way down at the bottom of the posts (they aren't pinned to the top) so you will most likely have to do some scrolling to find the rules.  New posts get added to the top.

Have fun!  Don't forget you can "memory keep" without photos.  Maybe you want to document what life is like during quarantine?  Or maybe you'd rather forget!

I have the paper to scrap my wedding photos.  I got some nice packs at Michaels a few months ago.  I have them in one of those albums that are self stick. I was told that they are terrible and my photos might eventually get ruined.  My photos are 5x7 and I wasn’t sure if I would do a 12x12 album or smaller for them.

I also have pages done, but not photos added for my son’s scout scrapbook. I want to have that done by the time he finishes Eagle.  I have more time now that COVID sortof halted progress for that!

I really don't do much scrapbooking, but probably will when grandkids come. I did make a wedding scrapbook for my son and his wife. I like doing cards better though. I will look at Scrapbook. com challenges to see what they are doing.

April

I got mentally stuck yesterday trying to print photos to scrap (even though DH suggested i scrap photos that were already printed).  Photos of relatives at Dad's funeral were the closest at hand, but I just wasn't ready to scrap those.  I wanted Landry photos!  I messed around trying to find the best way to print a few in sizes I needed ... then I watched a Kiwi Lane FB Live and debated scrapping 12x12 instead of A5slim (Elizabeth Craft planner) size ... Ugh!  Photo organization keeps blocking me from scrapping.  Persnickety Prints has a sale on this weekend that I think lasts until Monday ... maybe I will try to upload and order some photos ... I can't believe the weekend is over :(

Heidi, my wedding photos are in one of those self stick albums too.  I really need to get them out of there ... and the page covers are becoming brittle.  I guess we've been married a long time!  Not sure what size mine are ... might be 8x10?  Now there's a project!
