I don't know that I've gotten any new products recently that have made me look at my stamps in a new way, but I do find our discussions here and the challenges tend to get me thinking in new ways about my stash of stuff.
For example, I've got a jar of sticky embossing powder and I'm thinking I need to pull it out and use it.
