So, if you did Sadie's warm-up challenge, this challenge should be a breeze for you.
Requirements: Create a project using at least 3 different pattern papers. But here's the twist, you must alter at least one of the papers you used. Now, what do I mean by alters? I'm looking for creative ways to change the look of your patterned paper.
So altered includes: inking, stamping, stenciling, distressing.
Altered doesn't include: just embossing with a folder, using a border punch or die cutting it to create mats.
You need to use stamping, but it doesn't have to be a focal image. If you stamp one of your pattern papers, that will count.
Your project can be anything - ATC, card, Inchie (which would be very impressive and earn you bonus points), tag, scrapbook page, whatever floats your boat.
Be sure to link your project to this thread, or I might miss it. Use WF16–3 and 1 for a label.
Post any questions here.
There will be a drawing for RAK. Your name will go in the hat for each project you enter.
Combining challenges: But of course, as long as the other challenge allows combining.
Deadline: You have until midnight your local time on Sunday January 31 to post your project.

Great idea! Thank you for hosting!

I had no idea there was a place with goats on the roof, how neat is that. I am going to have to put some thought into this one too. Thank you for hosting.
-
Yeah, Goat on the Roof is one of those middle of nowhere tourist traps you come upon and you think, "Wait, what?" I've actually been twice on my way back from NC.
-
So how is this place -- "Goat's On The Roof?" LOL! Will get my thinking cap on!
April ;D

I have plenty of patterned paper! It will be fun to use some straight up and alter some.
-
This is gonna be FUN! TY for the challenge, Sarah!

I completed a project for this challenge and it was a lot of fun! I altered my paper by stamping and adding perfect pearls and inking. I actually altered 2 of the 4 patterned papers I used.

I am combining this with a couple challenges from around the blogosphere so that I can link back to our humble site.
Thanks so much for offering this challenge!

Great cards, guys. I'm especially impressed with Stampwilly's inchie.
-
I did get a card done for this challenge but by golly it isn't an inchie. Here (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=85&pid=2368#top_display_media) it is. Thank you for this wonderful challenge and thank you for looking.

Here is my card for this challenge. It was fun to do! I need a birthday card for hubby so picked some masculine looking (at least I thought) papers to make this card.
-
Great cards, Sadie and SWLady. Thanks for playing.
-
This was so fun to do! I don't think I've ever altered a piece of paper so much :D
I need to go back and correct, the heart I stamped on the paper was with salty ocean distress ink.
Here's my card. Thanks for hosting, Sarah!

Fabulous Valentine's card, LeighAnn.
And here's Ann's adorable little boy card. Spidey (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?pid=2430&message_id=634c0728506c6d6ae241aeb63f064c21&message_icon=info#cpgMessageBlock)

I used a random number generator and it picked LeighAnn's number. Congrats, LeighAnn.
Thanks everyone for playing.
-
Yay, LeighAnn!
This was a good challenge. It reminded me how much I like using patterned paper and how to alter it.
-
Congrats, LeighAnn!

Wow, Thanks Sarah!!
Pattern Paper is what attracted me to paper crafting and its a little surprising to see many not use it as often anymore.
And I'm ashamed to admit, I went almost a year without buying any PP(except for Christmas because I had managed to use almost all I had up) and I bought 5 pads the other day :o Darn that Hobby Lobby and their 50% off sale!
