Creative Challenges - Color on Patterned Paper (8/31 - 9/6)

My challenge will be not too hard again this week.  I would like you to stamp on patterned paper, and color your image in.

I found that this is a good way to use up some of the more simple grid or lined patterned papers.  I like using colored pencils when I color on patterned paper, but you can use whatever you want on whatever patterned paper you think will work.

Please post your card here!  I will have a sample up soon.

Sounds good, anytime I am using my big stash of pattern papers it's a good thing :)

I found another stamp set I got at the last stamp show of some bears.
Picked out my papers, stamped and embossed, colored with pencils, cut out with die and put on some fancy foiled cardstock.  All I kept thinking was the line in a song that goes,” waiting here for you!”

Ok I used all four bears.   Thank you for the idea on how to use them.  Sometimes all we need is a push.
My grandsons will love them.  It is hard not to make girly cards and they are too young for car cards, etc.

I needed a sympathy card so I used the challenge for it, really like the way it came out, the pattern paper I used was some thick stuff my sister in law gave me but there is no clue who makes it, I am thinking possibly DCWV but not sure.

I didn't get a chance to do this challenge but I really loved looking at the entries in the gallery!  Wonderful cards everyone and a nice challenge.
