Title: Sub-categories for flower stamps?
Post by: Far North on February 16, 2018, 07:44:02 PM
I am polishing details of organizing my stamps.  I have so-o many flower stamps I need to sort them into sub-categories so I can keep them organized in my Iris cart drawers.  I know I want my silhouette flowers together but how to title and sort the rest I am uncertain.  Any ideas for topics?
Thanks for sharing your ideas!...Jan

Realistic or not ?
By season?

I am trying to think of categories of how I use the stamps.  Perhaps categories like artsy and nostalgic could go with realistic.  Seasons could be helpful too for the flowers that feel specific to a season. Great ideas Heidi...thanks!

But I am locked in yet...so if other AIs have other suggestions please share!

Jan, have you finished organizing your flower stamps?  What theme did you use?

I was sort of thinking once flowers are together, then sort by brand?  If you know the style you want, it might trigger a brand name.  Also, flowers of the same brand would be near each other for mixing and matching?   But, then again, I just used 4 different stamp brands on one card front with no issue ... so maybe brand doesn't matter at all?!   :idiot2:  So in that case, would you go with size next?  If you know what size flower you need to fill your space ... Please let us know which path you took!  This is the kind of stuff that drives me crazy and halts me in my tracks!  I was definitely not born organized.
