Title: Plate order?

I am finding that plate order in my cuttlebug seems to affect the way it cuts: the thinner plate covering the stencil, the better it cuts.  Thus a and c I put down first with b on top.

Does anyone else notice this?

I notice more that it cuts a little better on mine with the die facing up.  Not sure how often I pay attention to the order of the plates.
