INK15 - Rustic -- WINNER ANNOUNCED!!!!!!!!
« on: October 16, 2015, 12:24:37 PM »
Here is my challenge.

I would like for you to make a rustic project since we are in the Fall season. I would like to see at least 2 rustic elements on your card, at least one rustic stamp image and rustic colors. Here are some suggestions. This challenge will run from Oct. 17 - Oct. 25.

elements --  burlap, bark, rusty embellishments, cord, metal, wire, etc.

stamps --  barn, wagon, tractor, wheelbarrow, old cans, bottles, etc.

colors --  rust, browns, mustard, slate, etc.

You can make any project, card, tag, box, etc. Please upload your card under INK 15 Rustic and link your project here to this post. I will be giving an RAK to a random winner. Have fun! Can't wait to see what you make!

Here is my card sample.    http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=2026#top_display_media

Can we combo?

I'm going to have to see what I have stamp wise that will work.

Yeah!  This sounds fun because Fall is running late here, and I am really in the Fall mood. I definitely have some rustic supplies!

Thanks for hosting!

This is right up my alley! I love fall colors and making fall themed cards. The trees are slowly starting to turn here so it's perfect. Thanks for hosting :)

Here is my entry:

This was easier and harder than I thought it would be. I did not have as many rustic stamps and elements as I thought I did.  So it was hard to find them, but then once I did, I did not have to make many choices, so the card came together quickly.  I guess I know now that I might want to shop for more things like this in the future.  It would be helpful in making masculine cards.

Thanks so much for the challenge!

I really enjoyed this challenge! I think it's great for masculine cards and those are some I need to have in my stash. It's a little out of my comfort zone but it was easy to out together once I figured out which stamp I wanted to use.

Heidi, I love how your card turned out. I love those wood embellishments and need to add some more to my stash!

Here's my take. I had a sentiment in mind but I couldn't find it. I may go back and add it once I locate it.

Thank you, April! This was a good one :-)

Here is my Rustic card, burlap, foil cardstock , metal findings on sentiment, wood background stamp looked rustic to me also and Rustic cabin are my Rustic elements.  I have been so lucky because these challenges have been working for the birthday cards I have needed to get done for my nephews who are in their 30's.

I finally got a card finished for this challenge; although, I'm not sure my image is rustic.
