Ink 19 3 from 1 --- Winner Announced
« on: October 26, 2019, 09:28:35 AM »
I have never made any one sheet wonder cards, I know isn't that crazy it was quite the thing awhile ago, so I decided lets get at least 3 cards out of one sheet of paper.  Now if you are like me you have so much paper that needs to be used up but if you want to take a 6x6 piece of cardstock and stamp your own background paper you can.  I would like at least one stamped image on each card, so either make your own background with stamped images or use pattern paper and add a stamped image to your card, I was actually able to get in my craft room yesterday and started mine but I have to finish them today. you can add a picture here if you would like of what your background paper looked like before you cut it up.

No combining with other challenges. When posting use the Ink19 3 from 1.

I am going to try and post the template of how to cut the background paper, but it is a png file so if that doesn't work, here is the link to it.

Great challenge idea!  Question, can we use any template we would like or just the one you posted?

I love the easy step by step of the video!  Thanks for the challenge!  I have PLENTY of patterned paper.  Happy to use some.

Here are my examples, didn't make a card with the last piece yet, but you only need to make 3 cards so I ended there for now to show you my examples.

I usually don't have a stash of cards, when I make them they are going to someone, but I think this would be a great way to have some on hand when something comes up and you want to get a card out quickly, or would make a nice gift set for a gift.

Cindi I had to laugh because I never watched the video, so I went back and watched it, that was pretty snazzy how she made her bows so fast and I watching how she used her tape I was wondering if others apply it first to the card base and then add your top panel?  I always add my adhesive to whatever I am gluing down, if I did it that way I would end up with a lot of adhesive showing I would think. I added my goodies right to the card base so I didn't need a panel.

Connie, first of all, I love your cards.

Second, I do sometimes put the adhesive on my card base, but I usually do it like you say, also.

Thanks Heidi, I am totally not talented enough to add my adhesive to the base of something first, LOL!
I realized I forgot to add the picture of my paper.

I did this one, put it on cream cardstock to go better with the green paper, and I used brown for one of them.
It was fun.  I reminder doing the one with a 12 by 12 piece of paper.  I was sending my best friend a card a week because I moved.  And this was perfect way to make lots of cards, and I put stickers on all of them.
Long time ago, before I owned a million stamps.

I really enjoyed this challenge!  Thanks Connie!  If I finish the other challenges this week, I'd like to come back to this one.

I went ahead and made 4 cards too.   I love making Halloween cards, so that's what I did .... but I'd better get them in the mail early tomorrow!

It was fun to use printed paper and border punches again!

Here is the printed paper I used.

I am very happy with my results but boy, this took a long time to come together today.  The basic card fronts were easy, but then choosing the focal points was harder for me.

Thanks for the challenge! I will try to upload the paper here but often that doesn’t work for me.  I forgot to photo it before I cut it so then I pieced it back together and took the photo.
