INK21 - In A Row (8/28/21 - 9/5/21)
« on: August 23, 2021, 08:27:41 AM »
I am always interested in ways to use the smaller stamps in our stash.  I saw a card in Pinterest recently that I thought was very neat and I would like all of us to CASE it.

CASEing always has a degree of leniency to it, but the required elements are:
1) a portion near the top of ink blending. This can be a background you made previously in your stash or something new.
2) a row of images.  I prefer this to be made of small stamps.
3) a sentiment in the white space area. White space is uncluttered, but can be a color.

Here is the card you are to CASE.  Note that this card uses special border stamps that are little images all together. While the border stamp is neat, I prefer you use single little image stamps all together. :

(That is a Pinterest link, I hope everyone can see it)

Please upload to the Inktoberfest folder in the gallery.

Went shopping this past week with my daughter at Hobby Lobby, and blew a gift card.
A lady said that they just marked down the dies and sets.  It was so hard to  decide!
Anyway this was one of the sets.  I have been cutting and coloring ever since.
I used the little bees on this card and the big bee on the card I made for April’s challenge.

I love this simple card. I always have trouble doing a simple card, so I love this idea.

Here are my two cards.  It was fun.  I don't have many small stamps/dies so I went into my Lawn Fawn collection.

I did lots of fussy cutting of my tiny stamps, but at least they are a simple shape!
This was a good challenge Heidi.  Always a challenge to keep clean and simple CLEAN!  I used patterned paper scraps and some previously un-inked stamps.  Yay!

I don't often think of using small stamps as my main focal so this was something new :)

Everyone’s cards were really great!  I left praise individually in the gallery posts. Thank you for playing along, it sounds like it was something a little new for a couple of you.
