Yes I did the glue that way but I used the Nuvo glue

If I remember right I even tried the Wendy Vecchi Perfect card adhesive glue on the flower, all seemed to work well.

Heidi I think I wrote the colors of Spectrum noir markers I used, I used 91% rubbing alcohol with them, I let them dry for a little white, but it wasn't more than maybe 10 minutes before I figured out what kind of embossing folder to use and what stamp I wanted to use on it.  What kind of messed up for me is the ink I rubbed across the embossing, that smeared bad for me, I let that dry overnight before putting the card together.

Well, Connie, I am glad I checked  after I read your comment.  Overnight, my background did dry!  So I am able to use it!  I did wait about a half hour yesterday, but for whatever reason, it took longer to dry.

Here is my card.  Pretty simple and it is soooooo rainy and overcast here, it isn’t a great photo.

It is a fun and easy technique!  I may try it again to stamp on.

Heidi I am glad it finally dried for you, maybe with all the rain our homes have more moisture, taking a little longer for things to dry

Ok, this was way out of my wheelhouse.  But that is how you learn.

First time I used wrong markers.  Then took me forever to find the correct ones.
I only have printed velumn, I thought that was why the first one a mess, not.
And it must not have been dry enough when I did the embossing folder cause it got stuck and tore in pieces.
Like I said first one was a mess.

But I kept at it, got the correct markers and used alcohol instead of blending solution.
I picked a more open design on the folder, had no trouble there.
I glued down nicely with sponge, would be better if it was straight.
All in all I did it.
A few years ago I would have quit.

I used a large glue stick I got from a show - from Forever in Time. I ran it all over my vellum piece and it worked very well. It is a good glue stick. I bought 2 at the show after we used it on a make and take.

Thanks Beth!

Thanks everyone for sharing your tips.  Good to know Nuvo glue works as I'm about out of Tombow, and good glue sticks too!  This was such a pretty technique.

Thanks everyone!

I'm still playing with some of the vellum I inked during the challenge.
